My Swiss chocolate shellmar - Survey shipping packaging
We are so busy already in the design of a package for chocolate. We ask you later but here in the blog. But what - since the first test shipments - presents itself as a challenge is the shipping package.
The requirements of the shipping package we would sometimes described as follows: Unbreakable: The chocolate must be protected against shocks; his soft bed - they just can not be before arrival There should be no excessive waste generated break - also the shipping shellmar cost may increase even with larger packets, which the customer / certainly not rejoice must Nevertheless, his post-packaging large enough that for only 1 table space for 4-5 cooling pads (about 5x5x5cm) is available. The handling must be simple, just stay goods cost the mailer must not be too large Ecological aspects are (Snipsel degradable etc) should be considered
First, we tried snug mailing envelopes with bubble. Result: 35% breakage. Then we have the panels (in your package) wrapped shellmar with bubble and shipped in small packages. Still good 10% breakage. Next, we will probably try different filling materials (snippets).
Has anyone had experience on the subject itself, is itself the subject or has an opinion on this? As always, we appreciate your opinion on it (and as always chocolate are among the comments again giving away). shellmar
I can think of right off the bat firstonce are so-called Styrofoam boxes (polystyrene boxes). There are these in different sizes, they could be geeigent. On the one hand, that the chocolate shellmar is shatterproof, on the other hand would also be room for the cool boxes for shipping in the summer. As for the environmental aspect, they could be reused or for recycling by consumers in the yellow shellmar bags / yellow bins (at least in Germany) are added. However, styrofoam is perhaps not very cheap. shellmar
Yes, we have already thought of styrofoam. Maybe more in the summer or during transportation to temperature-sensitive regions? Let's see. We also have some hints by email or twitter shellmar and Xing. Perhaps reports here yet, or the One. What do you think of wood wool?
Sure, wood wool is likely to protect the chocolate from breakage. shellmar My suggestion shellmar to the styrofoam, largely related to the fact that you have asked the question on the appropriate packages in conjunction shellmar with the ice packs. Since I find fitting styrofoam.
certainly even come out yet read small reminder: ever consider getting other chocolate shippers to order and see what the use of materials? You have to reinvent the wheel so ...
Perhaps that is very important for the summer: Many medications must be stored within a relatively constant temperature range and of course transported. This requires a package that offers good protection against environmental shellmar influences.
Neutral taste is in the packaging materials important, too. I do not, for example, happened that chocolate I got sent smelled of wet suit because it was wrapped in bubble wrap. Another time I got a bed in chocolate popcorn. This was very well protected from breakage and other times were snippets. However, shellmar I do not know how much would it cost at high popcorn consumption.
