Fall versandverpackung is my favorite time of year with the brilliant colors of the changing leaves, the softer slant of the sun s rays, cool, crisp days, and the abundance of the fall harvest. This year there is one more reason to welcome fall s arrival. On the first day of autumn, Saturday, Sept. 22, Spring Lake District Library will be hosting a presentation by the creators of the book Tasting and Touring Michigan s Homegrown versandverpackung Food: A Culinary Roadtrip. The book features delicious foods and the farms they come from that can be found throughout our great state. Tasting and Touring is a must read for anyone interested in preparing meals with locally grown fresh foods.
The event will begin at 2:00 p.m. and will include autumnal versandverpackung treats made with local, seasonal ingredients. Tasting and Touring author Jaye Beeler and photographer Dianne versandverpackung Carroll versandverpackung Burdick will treat their audience to stunning photos and fabulous food made from recipes in their book. The tasting versandverpackung menu will include samples of: pesto on baguette slices, sun-dried tomato torte, cherry tart, a trio of Michigan cheeses, Michigan grown apples and pears, and a tea tasting. versandverpackung
